NSS (National Service Scheme)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) at PSR Govt. College, Baijnath, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, fosters community service among students. Comprising students, teachers, and the community, NSS promotes camaraderie and leadership. Through various activities, students enhance decision-making skills, problem-solving abilities, and develop empathy towards the marginalized. NSS instills social and civic responsibility, encouraging students to organize programs and contribute to society. Completion of 240 hours of service and participation in a special camp qualifies students for an NSS certificate, advantageous for higher education and public service appointments.
